With the new IBEX range, SUNLIGHT demonstrates how an entry-level brand can develop progressive off-road vehicles that truly stand out in their design, ambitions, and value for money.
The Flagship: IBEX 604D
The IBEX 604D is the new flagship in the SUNLIGHT fleet. It is the brand’s first camper van with an automatic gearbox and brings considerably more besides: built on a VW Crafter chassis, it features four-wheel drive, 163 hp, a nearly two-metre standing height, and a nimble six-metre length. It also features a reinforced roof construction with integrated awning and an extensive off-road package is available from the factory, including a light bar, delta4x4 tyres, and a premium off-road step that comes as standard.
Inside, SUNLIGHT has widened the rear to accommodate a transverse double bed of up to 200 cm x 136 cm. The pull-out fridge is a practical highlight: accessible both from inside the van and from the exterior when the door is open.
The Wild One: IBEX 603D
The special edition “Cliff 4×4 Greentrek” proved so popular that SUNLIGHT is integrating it into the new IBEX family as the 603D with adapted styling. And, of course, it is just as adventure driven as it’s big brother. Powered by a 165 hp engine on a Ford Transit base, it rolls out with a standard spec that includes an awning, the striking Ford Raptor grille, high-traction 17″ off-road tyres and black delta4x4 Klassik B alloys.
The IBEX 603D offers the same sense of space with nearly two metres of standing height, framed windows and rear extensions that open up a generous sleeping area of up to two metres in length. A panoramic roof hatch lets in even more light and beautiful views.
